DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frontier Airlines today announced new nonstop service between Durango, Colo. and Las Vegas, Nev. beginning Oct. 4, 2012. The twice weekly nonstop service will operate using the Denver-based carrier’s 138-seat Airbus A319 aircraft. To celebrate the new service, Frontier is offering fares as low as $49* each way available for purchase through June 30, 2012, only at FrontierAirlines.com, so don’t delay in booking your Vegas vacation.

“As Colorado’s only hometown airline we continue to look for ways to provide the community with new, low-fare service to top travel destinations,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s senior vice president, commercial. “Residents of Durango and surrounding communities in Colorado and New Mexico will benefit from Frontier’s low fare, nonstop service to Las Vegas on board our comfortable Airbus aircraft, featuring DIRECTV service in every seatback and five rows of STRETCH seating.”

The new service will operate on 138-seat Airbus 319 aircraft – featuring 30 channels of DIRECTV® service available at every seat. Additionally, these flights will offer five rows of comfortable STRETCH seating with an additional five to seven inches of legroom, and the airline’s new SELECT seating product. The airline’s website, FrontierAirlines.com, offers its guaranteed lowest fares and is the only place STRETCH and SELECT seating are available at the time of booking.

Fares are valid for nonstop travel between Durango, Colo. and Las Vegas, Nev. Roundtrip purchase not required. Blackout dates of November 25 and December 20, 23, 27, 30, 2012, apply. A 14-day advance purchase is required. Seats are limited at these fares and certain flights and/or days of travel may be unavailable, especially during busy travel periods. Tickets are nonrefundable, but depending on the fare type purchased may be transferred for $50 or reissued for alternate flights for $50, as well as a possible fare increase to a non-promotional fare type. The name change fee and itinerary change fee are not exclusive of each other. Previously purchased tickets may not be exchanged for these special fare tickets. Flight segment(s) must be cancelled prior to scheduled departure time or the ticket(s) and all monies will be forfeited.
