Adds year-round, low-fare service to Allentown, Harrisburg
DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frontier Airlines announced today that it is expanding its service from Orlando, Fla. (MCO), with the addition of new year-round, nonstop service to and from Allentown, Pa. (ABE) and Harrisburg, Pa. (MDT). Twice-weekly Allentown service begins May 26, 2012, offering flights on Tuesday and Saturday. Harrisburg service – which will operate Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday – takes off May 24, 2012.
“We’re very pleased to provide travelers in eastern Pennsylvania with Frontier’s low-fare, customer-pleasing service to Orlando,” said David Siegel, president and chief executive officer of Frontier. “We’re confident they will appreciate our nonstop flights to Orlando International Airport – the closest airport to Orlando's world-class attractions, the Orange County Convention Center and the downtown business district.” Allentown is a new destination for Frontier, while Frontier recently announced that it will begin flying between Harrisburg and Denver in May.
Introductory fares begin at $90* each way for both the Orlando-Allentown service and Orlando-Harrisburg service. These fares, which include all taxes and fees, are available at FrontierAirlines.com through March 14, 2012, for travel through Sept. 9, 2012.
