Nonstop flights take off March 15
DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frontier Airlines today announced that it will add service between Knoxville, Tenn. (TYS) and Orlando, Fla. (MCO) to its route map. The new service will operate three days each week beginning March 15, 2012. With the new flights, Frontier will serve two destinations nonstop from Knoxville and seven destinations nonstop from Orlando.
“We’re very pleased to bring Frontier’s low-fare, high-value service to this route,” said Robert Westgate, senior director of Planning and Scheduling for Frontier. “While other airlines are abandoning this route, we’re confident that our better and different service will appeal to both leisure and business travelers.”
Flights will be provided on 138-seat Airbus 319 aircraft – featuring available STRETCH seating with an additional 5 to 7 inches of legroom on every flight and 24 channels of DirecTV® at every seat.
Introductory fares for the new route begin at only $59 one way and are available at FrontierAirlines.com through Jan. 22, 2012, for travel through May 22, 2012.
