Frontier Airlines Launches Only Non-Stop Flights from McCarran International Airport to Los Cabos and Cancun

Fares as low as $69

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Low-fare carrier Frontier Airlines is celebrating the addition of non-stop service from McCarran International Airport (LAS) to Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) and Cancun International Airport (CUN). These routes will be the only international service from Las Vegas operated by a U.S. airline. With these two new routes from LAS, Frontier now serves 31 destinations non-stop from the Las Vegas Valley. To celebrate the start of this new low-cost service, Frontier is offering fares as low as $69, which are available now at FlyFrontier.com.

“We are excited to be further expanding our unique brand of Low Fares Done Right to Las Vegas,” said Daniel Shurz, Vice President, Commercial for Frontier Airlines. “Frontier is always looking for ways to make travel easier and more affordable, and our reimagined frequent flier program with family-friendly benefits and attainable elite status, as well as our reduced change fees – free if you make changes more than 90 days before you fly – are the latest examples of what we mean by Low Fares Done Right.”

Frontier offers customers the ability to customize travel to their needs and budget. For example, you can purchase options a la carte or in one low-priced bundle called the WORKSsm. This bundle includes refundability, a carry-on bag, a checked bag, the best available seat, waived change fees, and priority boarding.

“Frontier Airlines has achieved success through bringing travelers from across the United States to Las Vegas, as well as carrying our local travelers to numerous destinations throughout the country,” said Chris Jones, Chief Marketing Officer for McCarran International Airport. “We’re now very pleased that Frontier’s network is growing internationally with this month’s additions of Cancun and Los Cabos – each a popular leisure market that previously lacked non-stop service to Las Vegas.”

Frontier wants its customers to have more options when they fly and there is no fee for reservation changes made 90 days or more from the travel date. Yes, that means no change fee. If you need to make a change between 89 and 14 days from departure the fee is only $49. Changes made 13 days or less from travel will cost $99. When making a change, customers just pay any increase in fare that applies.

The airline’s frequent flier program, FRONTIER Miles, lets members enjoy many benefits as well as attain Elite status. Like the airline, FRONTIER Miles is family friendly and the program makes it easy for families to enjoy the rewards together, including family pooling of miles. FRONTIER Miles is aptly named because you earn one mile for every mile flown – no funny formulas at Frontier. No matter whether a customer travels a little or a lot, they will find FRONTIER Miles rewarding.

Frontier flies one of the youngest fleets in the industry, with 80 jet aircraft from the Airbus A320 Family. With nearly 200 new planes on order, Frontier will continue to grow to deliver on the mission of providing affordable travel across America. Frontier’s young fleet also ensures that the company will continue to keep fares low and that customers will enjoy a pleasant and reliable experience flying with the airline.
