Frontier Airlines To Begin Flying To Providence, R.I. And Islip, N.Y.

Four new markets to be added in mid-August

DENVER – Frontier Airlines will launch new service to both Providence and Islip beginning Aug. 14 and Aug. 16, respectively. This is the first time Frontier has flown to either city. The airline will launch service between Providence and both Denver and Orlando, Fla. and will be the only airline offering non-stop service between the two state capitals, Denver and Providence.

From Islip, Frontier will launch new service to Orlando. Frontier will also start new service between Las Vegas and Raleigh/Durham, N.C. and will reinstate service between Las Vegas and Miami. Frontier is offering special introductory fares as low as $39* on these new routes as of today at FlyFrontier.com. Additionally, customers have the choice of adding The WORKS bundle to these special sale fares for as low as $59 each way.

Customers can take advantage of Frontier’s bundled choices, The WORKS or The PERKS, containing all of Frontier’s most popular options for one low price. The WORKS is available at FlyFrontier.com at time of initial booking and includes one carry-on bag, one checked bag, best available seat including Stretch and Exit Row options, full refundability when canceled at least 24 hours prior to scheduled departure, no change fees and priority boarding. The PERKS is available after booking and has the same options as The WORKS except the ability to change flights and refundability.

“Our network continues to expand in markets where people want to fly,” said Josh Flyr, vice president – network and revenue. “Customers in both Providence and Islip will now have a new low-cost option, and with The WORKS and The PERKS, we offer the best value in U.S. air travel.”
