Free Flights! Frontier’s Griz the Bear Professes “Love Actually” Appreciation for Customers at Denver International Airport

DENVER – February 14, 2023 – Ultra-low fare carrier Frontier Airlines (NASDAQ: ULCC) is showing love in a big way for Valentine’s Day! The airline’s endearing bear mascot, Griz the Bear, was hard at work Monday recreating the iconic “card flipping” scene from the 2003 romantic comedy Love Actually. Throughout Monday morning and early afternoon, customers aboard four select Frontier Airlines flights departing Denver were treated to unexpected surprises. Special ‘Love at First Flight’ #LAFF messages— focused on customer appreciation— were on full display from the tarmac as Griz held up large signs that could be seen by those on board Frontier planes ahead of takeoff. Customers watched through their windows as Griz became a true crowd-pleaser when his card flipping neared a climactic ending— showcasing this message: “Enjoy a free flight on us!” Customers on board each of the four flights were treated to $250 Frontier Airlines vouchers that can be redeemed for round-trip flights. As we celebrate Valentine’s Day, Griz and all of us at Team Frontier are proud to show our customer appreciation in this fun and lovable way. Happy Valentine’s Day!
