Frontier Airlines Announces Nonstop Service from Denver to Montego Bay

To Celebrate, America’s Greenest Airline is Offering Fares Starting at $109*

DENVER – October 4, 2022 – Ultra-low fare carrier Frontier Airlines (NASDAQ: ULCC) will launch new nonstop seasonal service from Denver International Airport (DEN) to Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay (MBJ) in February 2023. Frontier will be the only airline connecting DEN to this international destination. With the new service, Denver’s Hometown Airline will serve a total of 70 nonstop destinations from DEN. To celebrate, America’s Greenest Airline is offering fares as low as $109.*

“We’re thrilled to offer direct service from Denver to Montego Bay—one of the most popular vacation destinations in the Caribbean,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial, Frontier Airlines. “This new service will make getting from Colorado to the tropical paradise of Jamaica fast, convenient and affordable this winter.”

“As the fifteenth country served nonstop from DEN, this new flight to Jamaica further solidifies Denver’s position in the global economy and offers a new international destination for our residents to experience,” Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock said. “Denver will welcome leaders from across the Western Hemisphere in April 2023 for the first ever Cities Summit of the Americas, and these new flights will provide another option for delegates to come and enjoy the Mile High City.”

“Frontier’s international expansion in Denver is welcome news,” said DEN CEO Phil Washington. “Providing service to Montego Bay, a brand-new destination with strong demand from Denver-originating travelers, further enhances the value DEN provides in connecting people and places.”

Frontier is focused on more than low fares. The carrier offers customers the ability to customize travel to their needs and budget. For example, customers can purchase options a la carte or in one low-priced bundle called the WORKS. This bundle includes refundability, a carry-on bag, a checked bag, the best available seat, waived change fees, and priority boarding.

The airline’s frequent flyer program, FRONTIER Miles, lets members enjoy many benefits as well as the ability to attain Elite status. Like the airline, FRONTIER Miles is family friendly and the program makes it easy for families to enjoy the rewards together, including family pooling of miles. FRONTIER Miles is aptly named because you earn one mile for every mile flown – no funny formulas at Frontier. Whether customers travel a little or a lot, they will find FRONTIER Miles rewarding.
