Frontier Airlines Recognizes the 87+ Million Essential Workers Nationwide
The Airline if Offering 87% Off* Flights and Asks Community to Nominate Essential Workers for $100 Flight Vouchers
DENVER – March 9, 2021 – Low-fare carrier Frontier Airlines is applauding the 87 million essential workers in the U.S. who are tirelessly dedicated to supporting their communities. Thus, Frontier is offering essential workers 87% off* their next trip and the airline is asking communities to nominate essential workers to win one of 100 $100 flight vouchers on Frontier.
“From service roles to healthcare workers, the more than 87 million essential employees in the U.S. have vitally supported communities throughout the past year and we’re proud to recognize their efforts,” said Tyri Squyres, vice president of marketing, Frontier Airlines. “We’re immensely thankful for the ongoing efforts of these dedicated workers and want to thank them with a trip to relax and unwind, when they are ready. To that end, we’re offering this special discount on airfare and inviting communities to recognize essential workers in their area and celebrate their service by entering them to win one of one hundred, $100 flight vouchers.”
To enter for a $100 voucher, essential workers can be nominated by anyone - a friend, a neighbor or family member. Winners will be randomly selected. Full sweepstakes rules and the online entry form are available at: https://experiences.wyng.com/redirect/?experience=60467cdfc8f4d501830d4c56&media=press%20release
In addition to the flight savings, all new Frontier bookings made through March 31, 2021 include the flexibility to change trip plans anytime with no fee. Essential workers and all customers flying Frontier have the flexibility to fly on their terms, when they are comfortable and have the time to do so.
Frontier is focused on more than low fares. The carrier offers customers the ability to customize travel to their needs and budget. For example, customers can purchase options a la carte or in one low-priced bundle called the WORKS. This bundle includes refundability, a carry-on bag, a checked bag, the best available seat, waived change fees, and priority boarding.
The airline’s frequent flyer program, FRONTIER Miles, lets members enjoy many benefits as well as the ability to attain Elite status. Like the airline, FRONTIER Miles is family friendly, and the program makes it easy for families to enjoy the rewards together, including family pooling of miles. FRONTIER Miles is aptly named because you earn one mile for every mile flown – no funny formulas at Frontier. Whether customers travel a little or a lot, they will find FRONTIER Miles rewarding.
The health and safety of customers and team members is Frontier’s number one priority. With that in mind, Frontier introduced sweeping health and safety enhancements in 2020 that touch every step of a customer’s travel journey with the airline.
Frontier requires all customers and crew members wear a face covering throughout their travel journey. Plus, anyone flying with Frontier must complete a health acknowledgement prior to flying confirming that:
- Neither they nor anyone in their household has exhibited Covid-19 related symptoms in the last 14 days
- They will wash their hands/sanitize before boarding the flight
- They understand and acknowledge the airline’s face covering policy and pre-boarding temperature screening policies
During flight, main cabin air is a mix of fresh air drawn from outside and air that has been passed through an air filtration system that features HEPA filters capable of capturing respiratory virus particles at more than 99.9% efficiency – similar to those used in hospital environments. Frontier’s modern all-Airbus fleet is among the youngest in the world - all aircraft currently in operation are less than four years old.
