DENVER – Jan. 18, 2022 – Low-fare carrier Frontier Airlines (NASDAQ: ULCC) today announces 13 nonstop routes from two new airports: Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) in Houston. The expansion in Chicago and Houston complements Frontier’s existing service in the two markets at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). To celebrate the new flights and market growth, the airline is offering fares as low as $29*.

“We’re excited to strengthen our position in two of the five largest metro areas in the country with 13 new routes and two additional airport options for our customers flying to or from Chicago or Houston,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial, Frontier Airlines. “Frontier’s growth in 2021 was nothing short of remarkable and our team continues to look ahead at new opportunities to expand ‘Low Fares Done Right’ across both the U.S. and our rapidly growing international network. This strategic announcement situates Frontier to capture strong existing demand and stimulate new traffic with affordable fares and convenient service.”

Frontier is focused on more than low fares. The carrier offers customers the ability to customize travel to their needs and budget. For example, customers can purchase options a la carte or in one low-priced bundle called the WORKS. This bundle includes refundability, a carry-on bag, a checked bag, the best available seat, waived change fees, and priority boarding.

The airline’s frequent flyer program, FRONTIER Miles, lets members enjoy many benefits as well as the ability to attain Elite status. Like the airline, FRONTIER Miles is family friendly and the program makes it easy for families to enjoy the rewards together, including family pooling of miles. FRONTIER Miles is aptly named because you earn one mile for every mile flown – no funny formulas at Frontier. Whether customers travel a little or a lot, they will find FRONTIER Miles rewarding.
