Ultra-low fare carrier Frontier Airlines (NASDAQ: ULCC) is celebrating its status as America’s Greenest Airline with a special one-day sale for Earth Day. Since Frontier is more than 43 percent more fuel efficient on average than other major U.S. carriers*, the airline is offering $43** fares on roundtrip domestic flights in the U.S. and $43** one-way fares to and from Puerto Rico.

Frontier recently introduced UpFront Plus, a new upgraded seating option with extra leg and elbow room in the first two rows of the aircraft. Customers in UpFront Plus enjoy a window or aisle seat with extra legroom and a guaranteed empty middle seat.
