Frontier Airlines Launches Low-Cost Flights From Charleston, S.C. Fly to Denver and Philadelphia With Fares as Low as $39

Today, Frontier Airlines celebrated the launch of new low-cost, non-stop flights to Denver and Philadelphia from Charleston International Airport. Frontier and airport officials will mark the day with a ribbon cutting ceremony and other festivities at the departure gate. To celebrate the launch of its new service, Frontier is offering fares as low as $39 available at FlyFrontier.com.

"Today we introduce a new, more affordable way to travel to and from Charleston,” said Eric Engel, Sales Manager for Frontier Airlines "We’re offering amazing low fares and a reliable, friendly service that allows people to customize their travel experience to their needs and their budget. This empowers more people than ever before to fly. This is what our Low Fares Done Right philosophy is all about.”

The start of these low-cost, non-stop flights comes just two weeks after the carrier announced additional routes in Charleston. By this summer, Frontier will operate to five non-stop destinations. Flights to Austin and Trenton, N.J. will start in April with service to Chicago-O’Hare beginning in May. When service starts on all routes, Frontier will operate the only non-stop flights between Charleston and Austin as well as on the only non-stop flights to Trenton, N.J. which offers convenient access to the Greater Philadelphia area.

“We’re excited to have Frontier Airlines join us at Charleston International and we look forward to many great years together,” said Paul G. Campbell Jr., executive director and CEO of the Charleston County Aviation Authority. “Giving our passengers options when it comes to their air travel is a top priority for us. Frontier, which gives its customers choices, is a perfect match.

Frontier flies one of the youngest fleets in the industry, the Airbus A320 Family of nearly 80 jet aircraft. With nearly 200 new planes on order, Frontier will continue to grow to deliver on the mission of providing affordable travel across America. Frontier’s young fleet also ensures that the company will continue to keep fares low and that customers will enjoy a pleasant and reliable experience flying with the airline.

Frontier is focused on offering customers real choice and the ability to customize their travel to their needs and budget. For example, customers can purchase travel options like bags and seat selections either a la carte or in one low-priced bundle called the WORKSsm. The Works bundle is considered one of the best values in the industry and offers customers full refundability, a carry-on bag, a checked bag, the best available seat (including exit rows and Stretch seating), waived change fees and priority boarding for as low as $59 each way. The Works is only available at FlyFrontier.com.
