Frontier Airlines Launches Non-stop Flights from Central Illinois Regional Airport to Denver and Orlando

Fares as low as $54

BLOOMINGTON, Ill., September 24, 2018 – Low-cost carrier, Frontier Airlines is celebrating the start of service from Central Illinois Regional Airport (BMI) with the only non-stop flights to Denver International Airport (DEN). Additional connections will be available to select cities across Frontier’s network. The airline will also begin non-stop service to Orlando International Airport (MCO) in October. Frontier and airport officials will mark the day with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and other festivities at the departure gate. To celebrate the start of this new service, Frontier is offering rates as low as $54 to Orlando which are available now at FlyFrontier.com.

“We are excited to be starting service and proud to bring our unique brand of Low Fares Done Right back to Bloomington-Normal,” said Scott Fisher, Senior Director of Ancillary & Loyalty for Frontier Airlines. “Frontier is always looking for ways to make travel easier and more affordable, and our reimagined frequent flier program with family-friendly benefits and attainable elite status, as well as our reduced change fees – free if you make changes more than 90 days before you fly – are the latest examples of what we mean by Low Fares Done Right.”

Frontier offers customers the ability to customize travel to their needs and budget. For example, you can purchase options a la carte or in one low-priced bundle called the WORKSsm. This bundle includes refundability, a carry-on bag, a checked bag, the best available seat, waived change fees, and priority boarding.

“We are delighted that Frontier Airlines is launching service from Central Illinois Regional Airport with ‘Low Fares Done Right’ to Denver and Orlando International,” said Bloomington-Normal Airport Authority Chairman Jay Allen. “The low-fare, non-stop flights to these two favorite destinations are just what central Illinois travelers need and we thank Frontier Airlines for their partnership and commitment to serving the region from CIRA.”

The airline’s reimagined frequent flier program, FRONTIER Miles lets members enjoy many benefits as well as attain Elite status. Like the airline, FRONTIER Miles is family friendly and the new program makes it easy for families to enjoy the rewards together, including family pooling of miles. FRONTIER Miles is aptly named because you earn one mile for every mile flown – no funny formulas at Frontier. If a customer travels a little or a lot, they will find FRONTIER Miles rewarding.
